Job description
Strathcona Hotel has 3 openings for First Cook in Victoria, BC — permanent, full-time, starting as soon as possible.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
- Language of work: English
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
